So there’s this cycle of loom guilt. It’s always nice to have something to work on ready to go. A naked loom means that you can’t just pick it up and go, you have to get the prep all organized. So I do, and I start something, and the first 18″ or so feel like they take FOREVER. Sometimes that means it hangs in limbo for ages. Sometimes I’m motivated and force myself to keep going and finish in a day. This belt is the record for hanging in limbo. It’s also my first attempt at a material besides cotton. As a wool blend I suppose it could have gone worse, but there was certainly a lot of untangling effort every time I went the wrong direction! Anyway, at long last I have this pretty double wrap belt.
